Vicki Marie Adams

Vicki Marie (Lehnst) Adams, 73, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at Regent Park in Wichita. She was surrounded by her dear family, who love her so much.

Vicki was born on November 18, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Robert L. Lehnst and Donna Jean (Walker) Lehnst. She grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas, and proudly graduated with the class of 1970. That same year, she married the love of her life, Jeffrey Adams, beginning a marriage that spanned more than five decades. Vicki later earned her bachelor's degree from Tabor College and worked as an accountant.

A woman of boundless energy and kindness, Vicki was known for her warm smile and the joy she brought to those around her. She was passionate about fitness and could often be found at the El Dorado YMCA, sometimes attending classes eight or nine times a week. She especially loved walking and aerobics, finding both health and happiness in movement.

Vicki's heart for service was evident throughout her life. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, shared her time with Great Beginnings, and delivered meals through Meals on Wheels. Her generosity and compassion touched many lives in her community.

She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her dedication to helping others, and her love of family and friends.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Adams, of El Dorado; her son, Bryan (Pandora) Adams; her granddaughters, Piper Adams and Pallas Adams; her sister, Karen (Doug) Munch, of Chesterfield, Virginia; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Vicki was preceded in passing by her parents, and her brothers, Robert and John Lehnst.

A celebration of life will take place at the El Dorado YMCA on Sunday, August 31st, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Memorial donations in Vicki's name may be directed to the El Dorado YMCA or the Kansas Humane Society.
