In loving Memory of Vicki Sue Chappelle
Vicki Colburn-Chappelle was born on September 18th, 1962, in Ajo, Arizona and passed away on April 27th, 2025, in Colville, Washington at the age of 62.
She was the 5th born out of 6 children. After her father passed away in 1975, the family moved around a lot and Vicki left school early to live in Kansas with her family.
Vicki moved to Washington where she was a waitress in Republic, WA. She gave birth to her only son Jacob Colburn. She was very proud of Jacob's military service as Marine.
She met her husband Mike Chappelle, and they got married on July 3, 1991. They moved to Colville WA and had two daughters, Ashley Chappelle and Jessica Chappelle (Johnson).
Mike and Vicki took many extravagant trips around the world to places like Africa and Paris.
Vicki served as a secretary for the family business for 30 years.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, quilting, and helping those in need.
She dearly loved her grandchildren Jace Colburn, Hailey and Christopher Rapp, Shaylee Johnson, and was expecting a grandson (Johnson) in June of 2025.
Vicki survived by her husband Mike Chappelle, daughters Ashley Chappelle and Jessica Johnson (Matthew Johnson). Son Jacob Colburn (Hannie Colburn), sister Phyllis Colburn- McClaflin, and many friends that she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and several siblings.
The family is honoring the wishes of Vicki Sue Chappelle. She will be held closely in the hearts and memories of those who loved her. No services will be scheduled at this time.
