Vicki was a dedicated realtor with the Century 21 Rinker Agency, and Crye-Leike Realtors, where she built meaningful relationships and became a trusted presence within the community. Known for her vibrant personality, she had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever she went. Even after being confined to a wheelchair for more than a decade, Vicki’s spirit remained unbroken, and she continued to embrace life with enthusiasm and grace.
A devoted mother, Vicki is survived by her son, Gregory DeRose. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to six grandchildren—Jessica, Christina, Toni, Gregory Jr., Jeremy and Richi—and as a great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren: Jayla, Enzo, Rashaad, Lincoln, Scottie, Brooklyn and Brylee. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she treasured time spent with them, especially while playing bingo, traveling, or enjoying visits to the casino.
Vicki is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Steven Cunningham, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Paul DeRose; her son, Richard DeRose Jr.; and her parents, Willis and Margie Lee (Kirk) Cunningham. Their memories remain forever intertwined with hers.
In lieu of flowers, the DeRose family welcomes donations with sincere appreciation.
