Vicki Limbers Rockford passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the age of 65. She was born July 31, 1958, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as the eldest daughter of 5 children to the late George Dale Limbers, Sr. and Coral Lois Limbers.
She was a 1976 graduate of Redemptorist High School and enjoyed a career working at Baton Rouge Cardiology Center. Vicki was a member of Live Oak Church, where she attended services every Sunday.
Vicki was a God-fearing woman who loved her positive affirmations, quotes, and bible scriptures. She had a passion for cooking (and she did it well!), gardening and crafting.
She had the softest heart for animals, her daughters, and her grandchildren. She had a way of making everyone feel special and seen and was always giving many thoughtful little gifts for no reason at all. She was an adoring and loving mom, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother that will be missed beyond measure.
Vicki loved her co-workers dearly (and they loved her just the same) and was considered “the work mama” by many of the girls she worked with. She enjoyed making special treats and food for her co-workers on their birthdays and for work celebrations.
She is survived by her daughters, Lane Rockford, and Katelyn Rockford Oliver; her grandchildren, Chloe Lockwood, Berkley Pope, Charlee Oliver, and Hollis Oliver; her sisters, Suzanne Limbers and Shannon Pierce (James); her brothers, Dale Limbers, Jr. (Mary Beth) and Shawn Limbers (Christy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Paul Pierce. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m.
