Vicki Lee Stringfield, 59, journeyed beyond this life on May 22, 2025, in Barberton, Ohio. Vicki was surrounded by those who loved her most after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Vicki was Born on July 26, 1965, in Wadsworth, Ohio, and lived a life devoted to her family.
A loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, Vicki's greatest joy was raising her children and celebrating their accomplishments. She took immense pride in their successes, always offering her unwavering love and support. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family-she played an essential role in the lives of her niece and nephew, offering guidance and care.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Drew Brown, and daughter-in-law, Carey Brown; her daughter, Erin Caster, and son-in-law, Jeff Caster; and her cherished grandchildren, Leah and Eleanor. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Jennifer Barnes, who was not only her lifelong companion but also her devoted caretaker; Jennifer's husband, Michael Barnes; her niece, Megan Barnes; and her nephew, Jeremy Barnes.
Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, David Stringfield and Daniel Stringfield, as well as her parents, Jerry and Verble Stringfield.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved riding her motorcycle, embracing the freedom of the open road, and was a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Those who knew Vicki will always remember her unconditional love for her family and the pride she took in their lives. Her legacy is one of steadfast love, loyalty, and strength. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of traditional funeral services, Vicki's family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
