Vicki Wanner was born on October 25, 1942, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Bob and Clara Dymond. Following her parents' divorce, she and her mother relocated to Salem, Oregon, to be near her mother's extended family. Vicki attended Garfield and Bush Elementary Schools and graduated from South Salem High School. She later attended Portland State University, where she pledged Delta Delta Delta Sorority.

In 1963, Vicki married Gail Webb. Though they later divorced in 1970, they shared two children, Deyette and Darin, who remained the center of her world.

Vicki was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international social sorority, and formed many lasting friendships through her involvement. She began her professional career with the Employment Division, working in its legal department, and later served as a paralegal with the Department of Justice. In 1975, she moved to Eugene, where she remarried and later divorced.

Her career continued at the University of Oregon, where she worked as an assistant and office manager for the Director of Business Affairs. For the final 16 years of her career, until her retirement in 2003, she served as the University's Contracts Manager-a role she deeply enjoyed and in which she earned several accolades for her dedication and excellence.

Vicki loved to travel with friends and cherished the many adventures and memories they shared. In 2014, with no immediate family remaining in the Eugene area, she returned to Salem, where she was welcomed back by friendships spanning more than 60 years.

Known for her warmth and outgoing spirit, Vicki was rarely seen without a smile. She often expressed how fortunate she felt to have loved and been loved in return. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Deyette (Corey) Kelly; her son, Darin Webb; her granddaughters, Sierra, Kristine, and Cheyenne; and her grandson, Brandon. She also held her many friendships close to her heart, especially one dear "sister" friend who meant the world to her.

Vicki chose cremation and requested no formal services. She wished for her family to remember how deeply they were loved and to continue supporting one another always. To her dear friends, she wanted you to know how much you were treasured-and asked that the next time you gather, you raise a glass in her honor.
