Vickie Neff, a devoted mother and cherished friend, departed from this world on December 8, 2025, at Pickerington Methodist Hospital, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, warmth, and countless treasured memories. Born on April 23, 1956, Vickie lived a life that was marked by her profound dedication to her family and the joy she brought to those around her.
A proud graduate of Walnut Ridge High School, Vickie spent many years enriching the legal community as a valued member of the Columbus Bar Association until her retirement. Her career, while significant, was only one aspect of a life lived fully and joyfully. Vickie's true passion lay in her role as a devoted mother to her sons, Steven Neff and Michael Neff. They were the light of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to show her love and support for them.
Vickie had a spirit that radiated kindness and acceptance; she was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her personality shone through in her love for family gatherings, where everyone felt welcome and at home. She enjoyed games, Christmas celebrations, and cherished moments of laughter and joy spent among loved ones. A lover of animals and an avid reader, Vickie found beauty in the simple pleasures of life, often sharing her passion for her hobbies with those dear to her.
She is survived by her beloved family, including her brother Jon Stephens, her sister Connie Clifford, and her dear nieces and nephews: Bruce Livingston, Philip Livingston, Donna (Rick) Ellas, and Michelle (Donnie) Johnson. The father of her children, John Neff, also remains a part of her story, alongside many other cherished family members who will carry her memory forward.
Vickie's journey is marked by the love she shared and the hearts she touched, particularly during holidays and family celebrations, where her vibrant spirit was felt most deeply. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering support, infectious laughter, and the warmth she brought to every gathering.
A visitation will be held in her honor on December 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service that will take place at 11:00 AM in Johnson-Smith Funeral Home located at 207 South Main Street, Baltimore, OH 43105. In this time of reflection, we gather not just to mourn her loss but to celebrate a life lived with deep love and devotion.
Though she is now reunited with her beloved parents, Wellington and Vivian (Wells) Clifford, and her sister, Trish Barr, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Vickie Neff's legacy of love will remain a guiding light for her family and friends as they carry her memory forward, forever cherishing the moments spent with such a remarkable woman.
