Vickie Gore gained her angel wings on April 12, 2023, at her home in Salt Lake City, UT. Vickie was 60 years old. Vickie's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her, understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Vickie was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. A warm presence and loving spirit will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.
A proud graduate of SLCC Culinary, June 15, 2015, Vickie possessed a passion for creating scrumptious meals that not only nourished the body but also fed the soul. Vickie's culinary talents not only brought joy and satisfaction to many, but also served as a symbol of her unwavering dedication to hard work and personal growth.
Vickie is survived by her devoted husband Gregory Gore of Boston, MA, who married in May 12, 2009, but from the day they met, she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life by his side. She is also survived by Whitney Copier (daughter), Greg Gore Jr (son) Michael Young (brother), Donny Young (brother), Sean Young (brother) Aleayah Copier (granddaughter), Izic Copier (grandson), Jayde Copier (granddaughter) and Oaklenn Gore (grandson) and several nieces and nephews.
Vickie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Clarice Shepherd, Magnus Niles (Father), James (Cookie) Young (Brother), Tammy Tripplett (Sister), Howard Young (Brother), Kevin Niles (Brother), Shontay Young (Sister), Rickisha Lawrence (Niece).
The memories and lessons learned from their time together continue to be treasured and celebrated by those who knew them best.
As we mourn the loss of Vickie Niles-Gore, we take solace in the knowledge that her memory will live on through the countless lives they touched with their kindness, generosity, and indomitable spirit. May we honor Vickie's memory by embodying these traits in our own lives and cherishing the precious moments spent together.
