Vicky was my sister of another mother. I'm so sad for her passing, but so glad she will no longer be suffering. We talked and texted often, even thought I'm in Maryland and she was in Utah. We always visited when either of us was in the other's state. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there to support her Utah family during this special time. However, I knew she had many friends there to support them. She easily made friends where ever she went. She tried to visit with all her closest friends and family when she and John were in Maryland each June. But, there was never enough time. We understood and were grateful when who had a little time for us. Spending time with her family came first. I was blessed, along with EJ Storrs, to visit with her and John in July for lunch and an afternoon of just being friends, remembering old times and hearing their future plans for another exciting adventure. I was always shocked to see her doing what I considered dangerous things on Facebook. She made even fishing seem exciting. I will always miss her.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Vicky but aware of her health difficulties over several years. I remember Vicky as always happy and friendly and willing to help in any way she could. We loved visiting her and John and Wendy in Heber and especially loved her trips to see her mother and family in Rockville, MD. The picture with the obituary portrays her as she was, beautiful, smiling, and happy, always wiling to be a friend, mother and grandmother. We are blessed to know that she will live on in eternity.
