Vicky L. Phelps

Vicky Lou (Harper) Phelps, who resided in Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born August 29, 1950, in Fort Smith to the late Robert Thomas Harper and Peggy (Perry) Harper Patterson. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William T. Boggs, Sr. and Jim Phelps; and a brother, Gary D. Harper.
Vicky was a graduate of Lavaca High School and retired from Weldon Williams and Lick in Fort Smith. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to the casino. She was a great caregiver to her mother, enjoyed life with her family and friends, and loved her dogs, Abby and Annie. She was a member of Community Bible Church in Fort Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21st at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Rockey Boggs officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Cremation will take place following the funeral service. All services are under the direction of Brotherton Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by a daughter, Shanda Bates and husband Danny of Greenwood; a son, Kristopher Boggs of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Logan Boggs, Kolt Boggs, Ricky Bates and Jacob Bates; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
