Vicky L. Stoica, age 70, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Visitation will be held at 5pm until 8pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel. Visitation will resume the following day at 9am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Vicky was born on November 7, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan to Lawrence & Betty Murdock. She was raised in the Montrose area. Vicky was homemaker for her five children; however, for a span of a few years she worked as a caregiver to several facilities in Flushing. Her favorite time of year was the summer months; she loved being outdoors enjoying the sunshine. Vicky took great pride in her flower beds and gardens that she kept around house. She especially liked painting ceramics and did this for many years. In recent years, Vicky strived to attend church and looked forward to fellowship and Bible Lessons with friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
Vicky is survived by her loving husband, George Michael Stoica; her father, Lawrence Murdock; her 5 children, Christina (Levi) Kilburn, Christopher (Staci) Stoica, Shawn Lee Stoica, George Michael Jr. (Lisa) Stoica and Ted "Gator" Stoica; 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her brother, Craig (Phyllis) Murdock; sister, Pam (Mark) Wilson and her church community and neighborhood friends.
Vicky was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Murdock; brother, Larry (Jean) Murdock.
