Alin D. Stoica, age 15 of Marion, died at Columbus Children’s Hospital on Wednesday June 19, 2024. He was born on December 22, 2008 in Columbus to Robert Stoica and Michelle (Daniel) Bayles of Marion. Alin is survived by siblings Ashley Mount, Marion, Alex Stoica, Lancaster, and Caitlyn Stoica,Lancaster, Isabelle Stoica, Delaware, Michael Stoica, Delaware, and Robbie Stoica, Delaware. Also a niece Amelia May and nephew Carter May, Lancaster.He was a student at Ridgedale High School and also Buckeye Community School where he greatly enjoyed his engineering and building trades classes and also choir class. He had hoped one day to go into woodworking or possibly electrical work like his grandpa. He also sometimes helped his stepfather with his water delivery business and loved working in the garage with Dan. Alin enjoyed fishing and camping at Hickory Grove Lake Campground, playing guitar, and singing, but most of all playing the guitar. Alin didn’t know a stranger and was known to introduce himself to everyone and strike up conversations with people he didn’t know, who many times turned into friends. Visitation will be held at LaRue United Methodist Church on Thursday June 27, 2024 from 11:00AM-12:00PM. A funeral service will be held at LaRue United Methodist Church on Thursday June 27, 2024 at 12:00PM with the Chaplain Doug Ford officiating. Friends and family are encouraged to share remembrances and stories after- as Alin once said – “Tell my story!” Memorial Donations may be made to Ridgedale High School Music Department or LaRue United Methodist Church.
