William D Brown

William “Bill” Dennin Brown, 72, passed away March 1,2026, at Marion General Hospital. Bill was born to Donald Robert Brown and Dorothy Marie (Cooper) Brown December 24, 1953, in Marion Ohio. Bill is preceded in death by: his father, Donald R. Brown; brothers: Steve Brown, Tom Brown, Kevin Brown, Bobby Brown, and baby sister, Beverly Brown.

Bill is survived by his mother; Dorothy M. Brown; daughters: Carla and Holly; brother, Donnie “Don” (Terri) Brown; sister, Carol Brown; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Bill worked many jobs throughout his life like at BMY as an inspector, at Emerson as a computer cabinet builder, and was a salesman for Spears Meats. Bill enjoyed bowling over the years, he was in the 700 series bowler league. Bill was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes' fan and Cleveland Browns' Fan. In his younger years he played in a band, which led to his love for classic rock and roll music. He would occasionally play golf and pool with his buddies. He had Schnauzers and cats most of his life. Bill will be missed by all that knew him.

The family invites friends to visit Meeker United Methodist Church (6400 Harding Highway W, Marion, OH 43302), March 21, 2026, at 11AM for a Celebration of Life service for William. There will be a luncheon following the service. A private interment at Greencamp Cemetery will happen at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Meeker United Methodist Church.
