It is with deep sorrow and abiding faith that we announce the passing of Vicky Lee (Vorrath) Wagner, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, at the age of 56, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Vicky was the devoted wife of Todd and the proud, loving mother of three sons, Joshua, Noah, and Zachary. Her family was her greatest joy and most treasured blessing. She poured her heart into her home and into the lives of her boys, guiding them with unwavering love, strength, and faith.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Nancy Vorrath; her sisters, Tammy Fischlowitz and Cindy Miller; and extended family and dear friends who were touched by her kindness and grace. She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Vorrath.
Vicky had a deep love for swimming and found peace and renewal in the water. She treasured traveling and embraced new places and experiences, yet nothing brought her greater happiness than time spent with her family. Whether at home or on an adventure, she created memories that will be cherished forever.
The Family will receive friends on Friday March 20, 2026 at Kempsville Baptist Church, 5204 Princess Anne Road,
Virginia Beach, VA 23462 from 1:00 PM -1:50 PM. The Celebration of her Life will follow at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Pastor Heath Burris will officiate. A reception will follow her Life Celebration in the front waiting area of the church. Inurnment will be in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego CA in the spring. The Wagner family would ask those attending Vicky's Celebration of Life service to wear bright colors in lieu of the more traditional black or grey. Vicky loved pinks, purples, yellows, and reds. They would be honored if you could adorn any of these colors to celebrate her amazing life and legacy. Please leave a message or sign the online guest book at www.omanfh.com.
Above all, she was a woman of strong and steadfast Christian faith. Her trust in God was the foundation of her life, sustaining her through both joy and trial. Even as her earthly body grew weary and illness dimmed her strength, her spirit remained radiant. Now she rests fully restored - free from every limitation of this world - made whole in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy is one of devotion, courage, warmth, and enduring faith. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family forever. Oman Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to serve Mrs. Wagner's family.
