Vicky Sue Williamson, 69, of Bladenboro, departed this life on June 13, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Vicky was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, Bobby Williamson, Sr., with whom she shared her life and built countless beautiful memories. She was the proud mother of two sons, Bobby Williamson, Jr. and his wife Carmen of Hope Mills, and Brian Mitchell Williamson and his wife Jessica of Dublin. Vicky also shared a special bond with her sister, Debra Locklear and her husband Ronnie of Lumberton, and they created lasting memories together as a family.
Throughout her life, Vicky was known for her unwavering spirit and zest for life. She found joy in working out every day, a testament to her dedication to maintaining her health and well-being. Vicky had a passion for gardening, often spending her days working on her flowers, which reflected her vibrant personality. She also took delight in collecting dollhouses, Beanie Babies, Barbie dolls, and Christmas houses, hobbies that brought her immense joy and creativity. Vicky was particularly skilled in building dollhouses, a hobby that allowed her to express her artistic side.
Christmas held a special place in Vicky's heart; she truly loved the holiday and made it a point to gather her family together on Christmas Eve, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness that her family will always hold dear.
Vicky’s life was shaped by the love and guidance of her grandparents, Carson and Fannie Bell, who raised her with care and affection, instilling in her the values of family and compassion.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 18th in the Gardens of Faith Cemeteryin Lumberton. Reverend Al Marshburn will officiate the service.
As we remember Vicky Sue Williamson, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly through her family and the countless individuals who were touched by her kindness and spirit. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew her.
