Victoire Irene Corbeil of Biddeford passed away on April 23rd, 2024. Vicky was the daughter of Theodore and Sophie Madore Lajoie. Vicky married Ulysses J. Corbeil on October 27, 1945 at St. Andres Church, Biddeford, ME. They were married for 56 years until Ulysses passed away on December 9th, 2001.
Vicky enjoyed all types of music, even rap. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, flower gardens, animals, and feeding her birds. She loved going out for dinner for her favorite, fried shrimp. Vicky was known to make the best home made soup and special pizza muffins. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Educated in local Biddeford schools, Vicky began working at Fishmam's, Saco Lowell, The Mayflower, The Puritan, Forefathers Inn, Maine Castle, Kennedy School and Birch School cafeterias, Rite Aide/Welbys, and her daughter Nancy's home day care.
She was a communicant of St. Philip's Church in Lyman, ME. Vicky is pre-deceased by her parents, all her 10 siblings and her husband Ulysses (Bob) Corbeil, including all her brother and sister in laws, and most recently a newborn great great grandchild.
Vicky is survived by her five children, Cecile Corbeil Small and her late husband, Glen Small of Biddeford, Richard Corbeil and his wife Joanne of Biddeford, Ronald Corbeil and his wife Patricia of Lyman, Nancy Corbeil Dussault and her husband, Steven of Biddeford, Robert Corbeil and his wife Kelly of Lyman; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren with one on the way.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
