Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Victor Alan Anderson, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 in his home with his wife and children by his side. Mr. Anderson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, a son to the late Densley and Mary Alice Croft Anderson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Anderson.
Mr. Anderson owned and operated an office furniture company for much of his adult life and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a family man and loved spending time traveling with his family, working in his yard, cheering for his kids at ball games, supporting his wife in her career, and, more recently, loving on and being silly with his four grandchildren. He loved the Lord and was confident in knowing where his final resting place would be.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Brenda Prestridge Anderson of Jefferson, GA; children, Christopher Alan Anderson and his wife Jesica of Braselton, GA; Marianne Anderson Sadler and her husband McCray of Greenville, NC; grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Anderson (14), Carter Alan Anderson (9), Ryleigh Anne Anderson (6) and Charlie McCray Sadler (8).
In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Anderson, his remains were cremated, and a private family service will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
