Victor Cabrera Bonilla Obituary

Raised under the guidance of his God fearing parents, Victor gave his life to Christ at a young age. As a young adult, he served faithfully in his church as a youth leader for several years.
After graduating with his Associates Degree from Bergen Community College, Victor discovered his calling and enrolled in the New Jersey State Police Academy. He graduated in November 2005 as part of the New Jersey State Police Class 143 and served with unwavering loyalty until his untimely passing. Victor was known for greeting everyone with his warm smile and unforgettable bear hugs. Among his fellow troopers, he was affectionately nicknamed "Big Papi" and "Brown Bear" for his larger-than-life presence. He never hesitated to help those in need, always giving selflessly and expecting nothing in return.
He is survived by his son Isaiah Cabrera, 17, his loving mother Ideliza Cabrera, his younger sister Oshaira Cabrera, and his esteemed wife Sarah Lamonaco Cabrera.
