Victor Manuel Garcia, cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born on April 18, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas, Victor lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness-a life that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was welcomed into eternity by his parents, Amelia Martinez and Gilberto Gonzalez Garcia, and his brother Clemente Garcia, all of whom he carried close to his heart throughout his days.

On June 30, 1973, Victor married Liliana Salazar, and together they built a beautiful family, the true joy of his life. Family gatherings were his favorite moments-times spent celebrating milestones, sharing meals, and simply being together. Victor was always there with open arms, a listening ear, and words of encouragement that uplifted all around him.

He is survived by his children, Victor J. Garcia (Kristina) and Elizabeth Santos (Jesse); his grandchildren, Christian, Sofia, and Bella; his brother Gilberto Garcia (Elva); and many relatives and friends who will hold his memory close.

Victor had a generous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was always ready to share a story or a laugh, and his presence brought comfort and joy to any room. Whether offering a helping hand or a ride across town, Victor truly cared for others with sincerity and grace.

His gentle spirit and unconditional love are gifts we will hold dear always. Though we will miss Victor deeply, we are grateful for the memories we shared-his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support will remain with us forever.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E. University Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78626. A Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be scheduled in San Antonio, TX at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests plants, as there will be no interment immediately following the service. Your presence, thoughts, and shared memories are truly the greatest comfort during this time.
