Mr. Victor M. Trujillo, age 80 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday June 10, 2025. He was born on April 26, 1945, In La Jara, New Mexico to Celio Trujillo and Beatrice Carabajal.
Victor proudly served as a Heavy machine operator for both the county and the state and was a Ditch Rider for Bloomfield Irrigation. Outside of work he was an adventurer at heart. He loved going on scenic drives. He loved his hot chile and diligently tried to grow the hottest he could, he also enjoyed gardening and fishing the simple pleasures that brought him peace and joy. Above all Victor will be remembered for his boundless generosity, always willing to help anyone in need no questions asked.
Victor leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength and love that will never be forgotten. We will miss his warm smile. Helpful hands and adventurous spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents Celio and Beatrice Trujillo, brothers: Telesfor Trujillo, Fransico Trujillo, Diego Trujillo and Juanito Trujillo. Sisters: Bernie Montoya, Margaret Trujillo and Emma Trujillo. Sister-in-law Carol Trujillo and brother-in-laws Joe Montoya and Lorenzo Montoya.
Surviving are his son Victor F. Trujillo (Monica) and his daughter Tina Gallegos.
Ten Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Alice Montoya, Dianne Martinez (Leonard) and Bertha Muniz (Steve). Brothers Cirilio Trujillo, Felisiano Trujillo (Wanda), Gabriel Trujillo (Rosanne), Urban Trujillo (Tina), Celio Trujillo Jr. (Julie). Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Holy rosary will be recited Friday June 20, 2025, at 9:30 AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 410 N Allen Ave, Farmington, NM 87401. Interment will follow the mass at St. Mary's Cemetery Bloomfield, NM. Friends and relatives are invited back to St. Mary's Parish Hall, 307 N. Church St. Bloomfield, NM for a reception following the burial.
