In Loving Memory of Victoriano Hernandez 3/23/1932 - 10/29/2025
Victoriano Hernandez (Vic), our cherished father and grandfather, left us on October 29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born in this beloved city on March 23, 1932, Victoriano's life was a testament to devotion and service. He proudly served in the Air Force until his retirement in 1971, then continued to give back as a civil servant at Kelly AFB. After retiring, he remained in the city he loved, surrounded by family and friends.
Victoriano's Sundays were filled with joy, cheering for his Dallas Cowboys and watching the San Antonio Spurs. And who could forget his legendary BBQ brisket? His laughter and warmth made every gathering special.
He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Celestina (Sally) Trevino Hernandez, his son Victor Hernandez, and his parents Alfonzo and Benita Hernandez. Their memories live on in our hearts.
Victoriano's legacy continues through his loving children: Frank Hernandez, Robert Hernandez, and Elizabeth Hernandez; his treasured grandchildren Andrea and Gabriel Hernandez; his daughter-in-law Janet Hernandez; brother Armando Hernandez, sister Gloria Escobedo and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will forever hold him dear.
All who knew and loved Vic are warmly invited to join us in celebrating his life:
• Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 • Location: Watershed Church, 9315 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78217 • Viewing: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm • Funeral Service: 12:00 pm, officiated by Father Mike DeGerolami • Interment: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with military honors
Dad, Grandpa, your love, sacrifices, and kindness shaped our lives. We are forever grateful, and your memory will always be a blessing. Rest peacefully in heaven, knowing you are deeply loved and never forgotten. May you find joy in your reunion with Mom, Victor and many other family members who went to heaven before you.
