Victory L. Throndson age 79 of Lawler, IA, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Hugeback - Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton with Rev. Sue Cira officiating.
Friends may greet the family an hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Victory Lee (Menzie) Throndson was born April 1, 1943, in Terra Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Daniel and Wilma (Curry) Menzie.
Victory met the love of her life Edward Throndson in California and were married on August 19, 1969, and to this union, four children were born.
Edward and Victory moved to Lawler to raise their children. Vicky was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. She also had loving companions her dog, Peewee, and her cat Karou.
Victory is survived by her children, Andrina (Mark) Foley of Oelwein, IA, Clyde (Debra) Throndson Sr. of Lawler, IA, David Throndson Sr. of Oelwein, IA, Donald Brockie of Mishawaka, IN, Monica (Craig) Fortuna of Pontiac, MI, Regina Snyder of Calimesa, CA: along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Throndson in 2021; a son Bruce Throndson on May 25, 2022, and son Michael Snyder in 2014; and a grandson, Corbet Sherman Jr. in 1983, son of Regina.
