Mrs. Vina E. Brock

Vina E. Brock 1938 - 2025
We gather today to celebrate the life of a virtuous woman, Vina E. Brock, who left this earthly realm on April 30th, 2025, to be with her Heavenly Father. Born on August 28th, 1938, in the humble community of Helton, Kentucky, Vina was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her 86 years of life.
Vina was the cherished wife of the late Glen Brock. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Bell Simpson. She was preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Garland Simpson, and her sisters Jaunita "Cook" Brock and Susie Short before her own journey's end, her memory will be forever entwined with theirs in the hearts of those who loved them all.
Vina is survived by her son Randy Brock and his fiancée Miranda Kirby, her grandson Dakota Brock and his wife Darian, and her granddaughter Jaden Brock. Each of them a testament to the love and values she instilled.
Vina was also survived by her sisters. Beatrice and Henrietta Brock, along with Aarona Faye Nolan and her husband Kyle, who provided special care. They, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, form a tapestry of lives touched by her gentle spirit.
Our sister Vina lived a life of faith as a steadfast member of the Pentecostal church. Her belief was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through the trials and tribulations of life. She served her family and community as a homemaker, supporting her husband in his toils as a farmer. The fruits of their labor fed not only their bodies but also their souls.
As we bid farewell to Vina let us not dwell on the sorrow of her parting but rejoice in the beauty of her life where her journey continues in a place where there is no pain, no sorrow, only eternal peace.
May we honor her memory by living as she did – with hearts full of love, hands ready to serve, and spirits that never waver in faith. Until we meet again, we will hold dear the image of Vina, a woman of grace, a beacon of love, and a child of God.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00am till 12:00 noon in the Claiborne ~Overholt Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will immediately follow in the Irish Memorial Gardens with Rev Eddie Overholt officiating.
