(Medina) Vincent J. Hawkins, age 51, died unexpectedly on July 4, 2024. He was born in Albion on January 23, 1973, to the late Walter and Linda (Buckner) Hawkins and had lived in this area all of his life.
Vincent was a member of the Jr. Wilson Sportsmen’s Club and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing pinochle, fishing for salmon, origami, shooting his guns and going snake hunting in Pennsylvania. Most importantly, he will be remembered for enjoying time with his family, joking around with his great sense of humor, and having the kindest heart.
In addition to his parents, Vincent was predeceased by his grandparents, Vincent and Helene Buckner and James and Muriel Hawkins; mother-in-law, Georgina “Jean” Frasier; brothers-in-law, Billy Lyn Frasier and Harold Frasier III; sister-in-law, Teresa Huling; uncles, Brian and Brent Buckner; and aunts, Marcia Buckner, Francis Hawkins, and Nancy Hagerman.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 33.5 years, Jeanne Hawkins; son, Mateo Hawkins; sister, Rhonda Hawkins; brother, James (Kelly) Hawkins; aunts, Patti Buckner and Jackie Lyons; father-in-law, Bill Frasier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Gene (Brenda) Frasier, Charlotte (Art) Kasperek, Alex Frasier, Jeanetta (Bake) Prest, and Carey (Eric) Frasier; and a plethora of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Junior Wilson Sportsmen’s Club, 3875 Bates Rd., Medina, NY 14103 at 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Junior Wilson Sportsmen’s Club or the American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE), 111 Hampton Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144.
