Vincent Ohlert Obituary
Bernie was raised and lived on Russell Island his whole life. He was Commodore of the RIYC, and board member of the RIPOA as well as a board member of the Mill Pond Estates in Florida. Bernie worked as a bricklayer alongside his father, was a US Navy Veteran, and was employed at Al Long Ford.
Mr. Ohlert is survived by his daughter Marie Ohlert, son Vincent Bernard "Bernie" Ohlert III, Cheryl Ohlert Kopp, and Michael (Amy) Ohlert, grandchildren Justin Kopp, Julia Kopp, Daniel Kopp, Jade Ohlert, Korben Mead, Genevieve Mead, and Jenna (Alex) Kammerer, and a great grandson A.J. Kammerer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. Algonac, MI.
