Vincenza Richiusa (nee Tevere), 93, longtime resident of Lisle and Naperville, at rest March 7, 2025. Born January 24, 1932, in Tunisia, to Matteo and Fortunata Tevere. Beloved wife of the late Gandolfo; loving mother of Grace (George) Forker, Sarah (Craig) Dickenscheidt; Anna Marie (Lou) Kaczmarek and the late Salvatore (Sandra) Richiusa; devoted nonna of Nicholas, Adam (Sarah), Megan (Mike Tinnon) and Alexander Forker, Kenneth (Kerri) and Keith Dickenscheidt, Deanna and Anthony Richiusa; devoted great nonna of Molly, Charlie and Finley; Dearest sister of John Gasper (Judy) Tevere and the late Pete (Pina) Tevere; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Vincenza enjoyed cooking, baking; especially her Christmas cookies. She also loved to crochet and knit and was such an accomplished seamstress that she made her daughters wedding dresses! Lastly Vincenza was a legendary gardener and was extremely proud of her 37 rose bushes. Visitation Wednesday March 19, 2025 from 4-8 P.M. at Cappetta's West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Services 4920 Main St., Downers Grove. Funeral Thursday 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home processing to St. Joan of Arc Church 800 Division St., Lisle for a 10 A.M. Funeral Mass. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
