It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vinetta Elaine Lloyd - Hughes, aged 60, who left this world on July 12, 2025. Born on March 5, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, Vinetta was a beloved wife, a cherished entrepreneur, and a visionary in the field of journalism.
As an accomplished writer with a Bachelor's Degree, Vinetta dedicated her life to uplifting voices that needed to be heard and stories that sought to inspire change. Her passion for journalism was matched only by her relentless spirit as an entrepreneur, where she blended creativity and perseverance to forge her path. She will be remembered for her ability to foster connections and support those around her with unwavering kindness and warmth.
Vinetta is survived by her loving husband, Cortez Hughes, who stood by her side through all of life's journeys. Their bond was a testament to love, strength, and companionship.
Join us as we celebrate the remarkable life of Vinetta Elaine Lloyd - Hughes during the Family Hour at Living Faith Church on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service honoring her vibrant spirit at 3:00 PM.
