Viola Chambers, age 93, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in Wiggins, Mississippi.
Born in Iowa and moved to Biloxi, MS in the early 90s, to the late Ebb and Vada Smith, Viola lived a life defined by kindness, service, and faith. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, extending compassion and comfort to countless individuals throughout the years.
Outside of her profession, Viola found joy in the simple beauty of life. She loved gardening, fishing, traveling, and camping, and her strong faith as a member of the Baptist church guided her through every season of life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Chambers; her parents; and her seven siblings—five sisters and two brothers.
Viola’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her daughter, Cynthia (Dennis) Robertson, her grandchildren, Pamela Raymond, Jeff Jensen, and Dennis Robertson III; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Bryce Jensen, Kyler Rothe, Cameron Miller, and Logan Jensen. To them, she was more than a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother—she was the heart of the family, their foundation, and their greatest blessing.
Though she has departed this world, Viola’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit will forever remain in the lives of those she touched.
