Viola Moldovan Obituary
She was a life-long member of St. Michael Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurel and Emma, and by her "big brother" Frank R. Ardelean and by John and Michael Ardelean.
Viola is survived by cousins, Darlene Ardelean and family (of special mention, Darlene's daughters: Rose, Diane, and Sandy). She also leaves behind a cousin, Delphine Kozma Thomas, and her "little brother" James B. Moldovan and many other cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted by Fr. Remus Orian and held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church, 609 N. Lincoln Avenue, Aurora.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street in Aurora. 630-631-5500. Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery, Aurora.
Viola was a good Romanian, who loved and served her parish, her family, and her community unconditionally. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Michael Church (building fund), 609 North Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505.

We're saddened to read of the passing of another one of the pillars of St. Michael's Church. Great memories of Vi and all who have gone before her. She was a wonderful woman with a huge heart and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
