Violet Louise Easterly, 76, entered life eternal on Saturday, December 23, 2023, with her loving and faithful husband, Joe, at her side. The name Violet is symbolic of faith, inspiration, spiritual passion, and humility. It evokes beauty and grace. What a perfect name to describe this incredibly strong woman.
Violet was raised near Ten Mile in Meigs County, Tennessee, on a small dairy farm. In 1968, while working at the Blue Circle, she met her future husband Joe, and from there, they spent 55 years together, raising their loving family. As they built their lives together, adventures awaited them in Washington, Texas, Alabama, and Florida, finally settling back in Tennessee.
A devoted member of Ball Play Baptist Church, Violet's beliefs were anchored to her actions. She always had that sparkle in her eyes for those she loved. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edgar and Edith (Roberts) Masingill; siblings: Ben, Arlin, Minnie, James, and Lee Masingill.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Allen, and children: Lesa Hall (Tony), Allen Easterly (Chrissy), and Regina Williams (Leo).
