Violet Evans Obituary
Violet Sunshine Andrews Evans, age 51, originally of Harriman, Tennessee passed away on December 29th, 2024, at her home in Powell, TN. Violet was the type of person who never met a stranger. She was a spiritual person and of the Christian faith. She was a great mother to her daughters who she raised on her own as a widow and she was obsessed with her granddaughter. Violet is preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Thomas “Tommy” Harper Evans III, father, Dunevant Driver Andrews Jr.(Sharon Andrews), grandmother, Mary Francis Andrews (T.H. Brown), grandfather, Ray Andrews, maternal grandmother, Mildred Rush Robinette Phillips, grandfather, Edgar Lee Robinette. Survivors include:
Daughters: Savanna-Blair Sunshine Evans (Jay Childs) of Powell, TN
Elizabeth Alexandra Nicole “Alli” Evans of Powell, TN
Granddaughter: Piper Aurielle Hobby
Mother: Judy Robinette Andrews (Vince Bonnici)
Sister: Haley Elizabeth Merida
Friends: Anita Mcfall
The family will receive friends from 12:30pm-2pm in the chapel of Evans Mortuary on Friday, January 3rd, 2025. A funeral service will start at 2pm with Pastor Tim Ramey officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Crawford Cemetery in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood is serving the family.
