A talented beautician, Violet was the owner and operator of Violet's Beauty Shop, where she provided her skills and services to many in the community for years. She married Herman "Woody" Fleshman on April 8, 1961, and together they built a life in Corydon.
Violet was a member of the Unity Chapel Church in Ramsey, IN, and the Corydon VFW Post 2950. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to her yard, and cherished the moments spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Daisy Davis; her beloved husband, Herman "Woody" Elwood Fleshman; two brothers, Jesse Davis and Calvin Davis; and three sisters, Leanna Batman, Jewell Gaither, and Isabelle Buehl.
Violet is survived by her son, Todd (Dorothy) Fleshman, and her granddaughter, Susan Fleshman, who will miss her dearly.
Cremation was chosen, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
