The McClintock family regrets to inform the passing of Violet Pearl McClintock of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2025, at 97 years old. She was born in Otterville, Ontario, Canada, on June 9th,1927.
She is survived by her children Glenn Richard, Mark Steven, and wife Cindy, Lisa Marie, and Patrick Ryan, her grandson Stephen Lloyd McClintock, her brother Frank Manning, his partner Linda, and sister in law Mae McClintock (Jones, Manning), and many nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd George; son Herbert; sisters, Margaret, Dorothy, Isobel, and Olive; brothers, Robert, Harry, and Stewart; and her parents, Frank Milton Manning and Beulah Pearl Manning (Manary).
She was born on the Manning Family farm. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and friend. She was a 2nd mother to many people and adored by many close family friends. She was always handy with numbers, attending college in Toronto, moved to Tequesta, Florida in 1968. She soon opened up McClintock Tax Service in 1971 and ran it for 25 successful years. Being one of the few female business owners at that time.
She was also an artist of many formats. A hand-carved candle maker, a quilter, a seamstress, she grew orchids, and loved animals. She traveled throughout the United States with her husband Lloyd in their travel trailer. She was the heart and soul of our lives, and she will be dearly missed.
Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day... Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count; it's the life in your years.
