He graduated from Boston College High School and Boston College, Massachusetts, with a degree in Business Management.
Jim was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving and favorite (only) wife Patricia McCarthy Brady. Jim and Patty were lovingly married for over 65 years and had 5 wonderful children, Kevin, Brian, Jill, Scott and Lynne. They have enjoyed having their Grandchildren Killian and Sarah, Michelle, Joseph and Nicholas and Jack and Joshua.
Jim loved working as the President of the Sand Dollar Shores Condo Association for many years and loved traveling in their RV to visit family and friend around the United States. He will truly be missed.
