Virgil Coldren Obituary

Virgil, a daughter of the late Durward S. and Vivian V. (Long) Marsh, was born in Torrance, PA. She is survived by her four children, Marvin J. Coldren, Jr., husband of Susan M., Arlene L., wife of James M. Wagner, Susan E. Coldren, and Ellen L., wife of Steven A. Lynn; two brother, Carl W. Marsh, and Timothy R. Marsh; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, John S., Kyle W., James F., Robert L., and Donald E. Marsh; and a sister, Betty J. Rothermel.
She was a member of St. Peter's UCC, West Lawn.
Virgil started her career out as a nurse's aide, continuing to an LPN, and eventually becoming a registered nurse. She worked at the VA in Lebanon, the former Wyomissing Lodge, and what was then known at Manor Care in Sinking Spring. She also worked at the Wernersville State Hospital.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Jan 10th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's UCC, 2901 Curtis Rd., Reading, PA 19609. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com
