Funeral service will be 11 am, Friday, August 9, 2025 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Davis Cemetery in Bon Wier. Visitation will be 10 am prior to service.
Born September 17, 1939 in Jasper, Texas, to Doyle Lee Wood and Earline (DuBose), he served a short time in the Air Force being stationed in San Antonio, Las Vegas, and Tawain. After the service he owned his own printing company being dedicated to the sales of medical forms.
He is survived by children, Pete Wood of Beaumont, Stephen Wood and Jennifer of Roanoke, Anthony Wood and Chrissy of Round Rock, Stephanie Harrison and Ken of Lumberton; brothers, Buddy Wood and Pam of The Woodlands, Billy Wood and Debbie of Jewett; sister, Paula Bond of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Lauren, Ella, and Charlotte.
