LUXEMBURG, IOWA
Virginette C. Hoffman, 96, of Dyersville and formerly of Luxemburg, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg, Iowa.
Visitation will be held 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Kramer-Morris Funeral Home in Dyersville. Funeral Services will commence at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Luxemburg. Rev. Tyler Raymond will officiate.
Virgie was born September 11, 1929, daughter of Clem and Marie (Vaske) Wulfekuhle. She married Albin Hoffman on September 30, 1950, in Petersburg, Iowa. Together they farmed until retirement in 1988.
Survivors include her children: Dianne (Tom) Friedmann of Farley, Dave (Barbie) Hoffman of Dyersville, Cheryl Hoffman of Farley, Bruce (Connie) Hoffman of Dubuque, Brad Hoffman of Dyersville; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; in-laws: JoAnn Wulfekuhle and Elaine Wulfekuhle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albin in 2001; son, Bob Hoffman; siblings: Leroy (Donna) Wulfekuhle, Jerome (Alice) Wulfekuhle, Lester Wulfekuhle, Wildred Wulfekuhle, Laveda (Donald) Drees; in-laws: Gilbert, Clarence (Odeila) Hoffman, Lawrence (Ilo) Hoffman, Ray (Louise) Schmal, and George (Armella) Steffen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
The family would like to thank the staff at River Living Center, St. Croix Hospice, and Guttenberg Care Center for their compassionate care.
