Henderson, Nevada – Virginia Irene Morgan Chase, 76 years old, passed away in her home on the night of August 21, 2025, while with her family. She was born on January 8, 1949, in Las Vegas, NV, to Irene Tomsik and Edward Charles Morgan. Virginia was married to LeRoy Don Chase on August 21, 1982, in the St. George LDS temple. LeRoy and Virginia celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary before her passing.
Virginia grew up in Las Vegas, NV, and is an alum of Rancho High School. Following high school, Virginia began her lifelong career doing what she always said she wanted to do, be a mother. Virginia was a wonderful and loving wife and mother.
Virginia adored the arts, passionately creating crafts, painting, crocheting, sewing, and constructing her children’s Halloween costumes by hand. She loved gardening flowers and plants while making her home and yard forever bloom, with carnations being her favorite. The holidays, particularly the ones involving family gatherings, were her dearest time of year and she was renowned for her Halloween decorating, her Thanksgiving meals, and her Christmas spirit. All times of the year were a good time for her scrumptious baked goods. Her favorite movie was Pollyanna (1960) as she loved any story about helping others. She had impeccable faith in Jesus Christ and loved being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Virginia devoted herself to serving her church and the LDS temple and was quick to help anyone in need.
