Virginia Davis, a cherished member of her family, passed away on January 17, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. Born on July 7, 1953, in Bluefield, Virginia, She lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones.
Virginia dedicated a significant part of her professional life to Modern Builders Supply, where she made many friends and left a lasting impact. Outside of her career, she found joy in simple pleasures, particularly enjoying a good deal at garage and yard sales. Her knack for unearthing treasures was matched only by her love for spending time with her family and friends. Virginia adored engaging in crossword puzzles, a hobby that reflected her sharp mind and playful spirit.
She is survived by her son, Edward Davis, as well as her three grandchildren: Shawn Davis, Sebastian Davis, and Nathanial Davis. Virginia's siblings, Jack Gullion, Jimmy Gullion, Peggy Boardman, Patty Bucy, and Alice Altizer, will carry on her legacy of love and support in their lives. Additionally, her best friend, Marie Francis, was a constant source of love and encouragement throughout the years, sharing countless memories and experiences that enriched both their lives.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Grace (Johnson) Gullion, who undoubtedly laid the foundation of love and strength that she carried through her life. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Wanda Puckett and Charles Gullion, whose memories will be forever held in the hearts of those who loved them.Per her request cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
