Virginia Louise Easter, a vibrant spirit with an infectious smile, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Abilene, Texas. Born on July 8, 1953, in Monahans, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Eddie Ray Easter Sr. and Margrette Louise Bristow.

Virginia was known for her love of nature and her adventurous outings to the lake with her best friend Tammie and Tamara. She had a knack for puzzles and never missed a chance to crack a joke, bringing joy to everyone around her. A proud mother and grandmother, she was lovingly referred to as "Nonie." Her home was a place of warmth and safety, always welcoming anyone who needed it. Virginia loved to celebrate life, enjoyed parties, and was never shy about sharing her love for Jesus.

She is survived by her daughter, Deirdra Frazier & husband Benjamin Griggs; daughter, Marlene Garner; step-children, Shana Strickland, Michael Garner, and Joann Garner; grandchildren, Morgan Taylor Garner Wood & husband Xaiver Johnson, Autumn Nikole Harrison, Brook Cherith Green, Dylon James Michael Harrison, Cayla Jane Green, Zoie Marie Hardman, Corben Levi Griggs; great grandchild, Amelia Jade Garner Johnson; brother, Joel Easter; sisters, Lela Evans, Edna Hatfield, Lenore Webb & husband John; aunt, Rachel & husband Daile Young; sister-in-law, Stacy Easter; son-in-laws, Jared Day and Jamie Green.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Ray Easter Sr. and Margrette Louise Bristow; daughter, Melissa Dena ' Gurley; step-daughter, Terri Lynn Garner; brother, Eddie Ray Easter Jr.; brother, Riley Lee Easter; sister, Xeudrea Ann Easter; family member, Michael Don Frazier; best friend who she loved very much, Jay Carl Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who she all loved.
