Virginia Carolyn Freeman, age 77, of Kaiser, Missouri passed away on August 20, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 1, 1948 in Tuscumbia, Missouri; a daughter of Jewel Lee Tannehill and Ruby Charlotte Hogue. She was united in marriage to James Ernest Freeman on May 16, 1993 in Osage Beach, Missouri and he preceded her in death in 2013.
Virginia loved to paint, watch old movies/TV especially "I Love Lucy" reruns, sewing and gossiping with her friends. She taught Sunday School classes at New Hope Church for many years. She also loved her cats. Mostly she loved spending time with family especially her grand babies and great grand babies. She worked at FASCO Industries for more than 20 years before her retirement.
Virginia is survived by her three children Tammy Lynn Yates (Tony) of Rolla, Stacy Whitfield (Carla) of Jefferson City, Danielle Forgue (Mike) of Kaiser; grandchildren Christopher Whitfield, Phillip Sommers, Cailin Whitfield, Mason Muehlhauser, Jacob Roe, Madison Marr; great grandchildren Reecelyn, Wrenley, Parker, Holden, Bjorn, Leo, Raelyn, Jayden, Grayson. Virginia was preceded by Father, Jewel Lee Tannehill, Mother, Ruby Charlotte Hogue.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at New Hope Cemetery, 148 County Road 42-3, Kaiser, MO.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to New Hope Church, 148 County Road 42-3, Kaiser, MO, 65047.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 514 Highway 42, Osage Beach, MO. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
