Obituary published on Legacy.com by Legacy Options Funeral and Cremation Services, LLC - Fort Myers on Feb. 14, 2023.
Virginia Frino, 84, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away surrounded by her family on February 12, 2023, at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL.
Virginia was born on September 29, 1938 in Perth Amboy, NJ to Marion Terry and Howard Woodruff. She resided in Bedminster, NJ and Manahawkin, NJ prior to moving to Southwest Florida in 2016. Virginia was employed by AT&T for nearly 30 years. A consistently high performer, she enjoyed her job immensely.
Together with support of her devoted husband of 59 years, Virginia and Michael worked hard to raise their children to provide them opportunities for success. Between her career and raising a family, Virginia enjoyed playing Bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City with family and friends.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Michael, brothers Howard Woodruff, Frank Terry, Jr. and Wayne Terry. She is survived by her children Diane Dean and husband Jim, Michael Frino, Jr. and John Frino and wife Sherry. She is also survived by her sister Antoinette Terry and grandchildren, James Dean, Christopher Dean and his fiancé Victoria Talbot, Marissa Dean and Madeline Frino as well as many nieces and nephews.
Virginia will be remembered for her generous, loving nature who greeted all with her warm smile. A fighter until the very end, she is now at peace and reunited with her husband and many friends and family. The world was a better place with her in it and she will be missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Virginia's family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to family and friends for their outpouring of love and support. Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 2-4PM at Legacy Options Funeral Home, 16850 Oriole Rd, Suite #1, Fort Myers, FL 33912.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bonita Springs Lions Club 10346 Pennsylvania Avenue, P.O. Box 366776, Bonita Springs, FL 34136-6776 or The Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
