Virginia L. Hamilton

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Virginia L. Hamilton, who left us peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 14, 1937, in Canton, Ohio, Virginia was a beloved mother and a cherished member of her community.

Virginia lived her entire life in Canton, where she will be remembered for her warm spirit and unwavering kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Virginia (Follot) Moses , husband Bruce L. Hamilton, and sisters LaRae Holbein, Sally Sinclair, and Lenore "Bonnie" Gromes. She is survived by her children Bruce E. Hamilton (Kaye), Christine Sholtis, and Penny Hamilton, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather to pay their respects during the calling hours and visitation that will be held on October 6, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM at Reed Funeral Home CANTON CHAPEL 705 Raff Rd SW Canton OH. Following this time of remembrance, a funeral service will take place at the same location at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Amy Downard officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Burial Park.

As we reflect on Virginia's life, we are grateful for the love, laughter, and warmth she shared with all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of calling her family and friend.
