Virginia P. Hollowell, age 87, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away on September 16, 2025, at Arrowhead Senor Living. She was born on October 15, 1937, in Hutchinson, Kansas; a daughter of Paul and Mary (Cain) Bell. She was united in marriage to Joe Hollowell on May 14, 1956. They shared 55 years together at the time of his passing.
Virginia served twenty years plus in the education field. She loved teaching young minds. Her hobbies were sewing and gardening. She loved to cook and bake. Virginia also enjoyed playing a round of golf. Her most treasured time was spent with her family and friends.
Virginia is survived by her daughters Rose Gibbens (Roni), Anita Lawrence (William), Teresa Kelly (Sean), Denise McDonald (Dennis); nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; her brother Joseph Bell (Nora); her sister Mary Masterson (Neil); and other relatives and many friends.
Virginia was preceded by her husband Joe Hollowell; her parents Paul and Mary Bell; and her brother and sister-in-law James and Martha Bell.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 10, 2025, at St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove, Oklahoma.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove, Oklahoma.
Nichols Stephens Funeral in Grove, Oklahoma will be assisting with the services in Grove, Oklahoma.
