Virginia is survived by her sons, Madison Howlett (Annin), Jamie Powers (Melissa), and Jeremy Powers (Felisha); her grandchildren, Sara Howlett, Brandon Howlett, Lauren Howlett, Ryan Powers, Ian Powers, Desiree Powers, Damien Howlett, Adrien Evans, and Ryder Powers; her great grandchildren, Cainon Howlett, Naomi Howlett, Liam Johnson, Nico Johnson, Avaeda Gaines, Nathaniel Leonard, Adrien Battle, Lehlani Battle, and Kylan Howlett; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Burial will follow the service at Oakdale Cemetery in Spring Hope. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
