Virginia was a resident of South Weymouth for 75 years. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved hosting and having everyone together, she was truly the glue of the family. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth. She loved the beach and enjoyed summers at their cottage in Dennisport and getting ice cream at Sundae School with the grandkids. Virginia enjoyed girls trips with her daughters and sister to Chatham and Falmouth. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Patriots and Red Sox. Virginia worked for many years as a sales associate at Jordan Marsh. She loved music, singing to old tunes, watching classic movies, and candlepin bowling with her late husband Robert. She also enjoyed reading, watching masterpiece theater, playing games, and sitting on her porch. She had an infectious laugh and made everyone feel special. She will be greatly missed.
Beloved wife of the late Robert V. Huggon. Devoted mother of Robert J. Huggon and his wife Dorothy of Plymouth, Paul V. Huggon and his wife Marcia of Wells, ME, John S. Huggon and his wife Dianne of Taunton, Susan M. Huggon-Mushaweh and her husband Jerry of Woodbury, CT, Martha H. Morris and her husband Jeff of Austin, TX, and Joan H. Demarest and her husband Lee of Charleston, SC. Loving sister of Jacqueline Moncreiff and her late husband Tom of San Jose, CA. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and aunt to Scott, Craig, and Thomas Moncreiff. Also survived by her dedicated caretakers Audrey Huggon, Lisa Rucker, and Margaret (Peg) Langan.
A Funeral Mass will be Friday, 11/14/25 in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Virginia may be made to Pat Roche Hospice House, 86 Turkey Hill Rd., Hingham, MA 02043.
