Virginia Mack Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ronald Taylor II Funeral Home - Washington D.C. on Dec. 19, 2025.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Virginia Mack, born on November 28, 1947, in Albany, Georgia, who departed from this world on December 11, 2025. Virginia spent her retired years in Washington, District of Columbia, where she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like listening to Lou Ross, engaging in hand dancing, and bowling.

Virginia was a loving individual who had a remarkable career as a Computer Analyst in the Federal Government before her retirement. Her compassionate spirit and love for her family were evident in all she did. She was a beacon of strength and resilience, embodying the words of Maya Angelou, "I work really hard to just focus on the joy of the work that I get to do and the impact that it has on the world."

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lynn McCray, her grandchildren, Chae McCray, Noble Cunningham Jr, and Saveion Goddard, her great-grandchildren, Zailyn Rushdan, Nyala Cunningham, and Noble Cunningham III. She was preceded in death by her father, O.B. Mack, and mother, Mary Mitchell.

Virginia's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her as we remember a life well-lived. To pay tribute to Virginia's life and share your memories, we invite you to visit her memorial page to leave messages and upload photos. Your stories and images will serve as a comforting reminder of Virginia's loving spirit and the joyful moments she shared with those she loved.
