Virginia Lee Moody

Virginia L. Moody was born January 30, 1932 to Walter and Florence (Steinbarger) Williams. She passed away November 1, 2025 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.
She married Jonas Frank Moody, and to this union six children were born, Joe Moody Jr. (Connie) NC., Barbara Green (Jimmie) TX., Benny Moody (Anna) OK., Carol Bachman (Ray) KS., Clifford Moody (Tina) KS., and Troy Moody (Laura) KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents in 1983; her husband in 2006; brother, Walter Williams; sisters, Irene Pulliam, Carol Black, and Mildred Williams.
She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children and grandchildren as well as one sister in Colorado, Shirley Sneary. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, The Pratt Area Quilt Guild until 2014, The Hospital Auxiliary, Pilot Club, and the Red Hat Society. She retired from the Farmers Co-op in Isabel after 19 years there. She enjoyed working at the Stockade Museum, meeting people from other states and countries after her retirement.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2025 at First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the First Christian Church and mailed to Larrison Funeral Home.
