Virginia Belle Netter

Virginia Belle Thompson Netter, 94, passed away December 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents, Duluth Sydnor Thompson and Vera O. Asbury Thompson, her sisters, Rachael I. "Jean" Klemm and Glista Ernestine Thompson, and her beloved husband of 75 years, Mitchell Netter.

Mrs. Netter was a loving wife, mother, and "Mumsie." She is survived by her son, Ronald L. Netter, Sr. (Pam), her daughter, Candy N. Harrison (Larry); four grandchildren, Mitchell Lee Netter (Jennifer), Brandon N. Harrison, Ronald Lee Netter, Jr. (Amber), and Kristen H. Luken (Chris); nine great-grandchildren, Max, Kayli, Kyle, Claire, Lynnlee, Knox, Carly, Eleanor, and Madison.

Virginia Netter earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Highest Honors in Psychology from the University of Louisville where she was also a member of The Woodcock Society, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and The National Honor Society in Psychology. She also earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from Spalding University. Professionally, Virginia had a long, successful career in the wholesale produce business as co-owner of Netter Produce Company with her husband, Mitch.
