Virginia Pendleton

Virginia Brady "Ginner" Pendleton, 90, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Arlander Sidney Brady and Mozelle Bingham Brady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Michael Pendleton; her brothers, Bill and Robert Brady; and her mother and father in-law, John Willard Pendleton and Bessie Queen Pendleton.
She grew up in Shelby of Cleveland County, NC and attended Fallston High School, where she met her soul mate and loving husband, Max. After marrying Max, and having their child Randy, they were called by God to live in Belmont, NC in order to be servants of Catawba Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pendleton is survived by her husband of 72 years, Pastor Max Lee Pendleton; her cousin and 'adopted daughter', Jennifer Jones; and her nephews, Lan Brady, Ronnie Brady, and Rick Brady.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Pendleton will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Catawba Heights Baptist Church, Belmont, NC. Pastors Raymond Johns and Phil Meadows will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
